Our menu...
Our objective is to offer a really great pub dining experience. This means, fresh, local produce, cooked to order and well presented, not too fiddly, with good portions. Modern in style, with lots of small plates, and a wide ranging mix of styles, our menu changes regularly. Almost everything is made in house from base ingredients.
Suppliers & produce
Our suppliers are small firms, game keepers and farmers in Oxfordshire and Berkshire (except the fish of course, which comes from Cornwall) and game and “wild food” that we either forage ourselves or barter with our neighbours, plus we have a small vegetable garden which keeps us supplied in the summer.
Our menu changes on an almost daily basis, according to what our suppliers bring us and what is in season.
