How To find Us

Please note that the A4130 down to Henley Bridge from the M4 / Maidenhead side can get very busy during Sunday lunchtimes and the Henley Regatta week.  At these times, we would recommend approaching from the M40 side if convenient.

Directions from M4

Exit the M4 at Jct 8/9, taking the A404(M) towards Marlow and Henley-on-Thames.  Exit the A404(M) at the 3rd Junction, taking the A4130 towards Henley-on-Thames, continuing straight at the next roundabout, along the A4130.  After approximately 4 miles cross the bridge into Henley and turn right at the main traffic lights (2nd set of lights), continuing along the A4130.  Then follow the directions below from Henley-on-Thames

Directions from Henley-on-thames

Take the A4130 out of Henley towards Nettlebed and after about 1 mile, take the B480 to the right in the direction of Stonor.  At Stonor turn off left (there is only one turning in Stonor to the left) to Maidensgrove / Russell’s Water, following the road up through the woods and over the common at the top of the hill. The Five Horseshoes will then be on your left, with a large car park on your right.

Directions from m40 jct 6

Exit the M40 at Jct 6, taking the B4009 to Watlington, where you follow the B480 towards Cookley Green.  Just before Cookley Green, fork right along the B481 continuing towards Cookley Green and Nettlebed and very shortly after this take the turning on your left towards Russell’s Water and Maidensgrove.  Continue through Russell’s Water and after approximately ½ mile, the Five Horseshoes will be on your right, with a large car park on your left.
