The Five Horseshoes is a 16th Century pub with brass, wrought iron, beams, burning fires and traditional pub games with fines ales and excellent wines. Large conservatory restaurant area and 2 snug bar areas.

Duncan Welgemoed joined the team as head chef in April 2007 and is passionate about preparing high quality, home-cooked, traditional food, using the freshest local produce where possible.  Duncan's previous positions include head chef of the Pot Kiln near Newbury working alongside Mike Robinson and prior to this, sous chef at the Goose at Britwell Salome under Michael North.  Duncan has also completed stages at Michelin starred kitchens across the country. For recent reviews and further information, please visit our "Press" page.
